Where the Tsugaru Strait and the Pacific Ocean meet at
the most North-Eastern point of Honshu Island,
Shiriyazaki, the Ezo Abalone is grown in mineral-rich
waters teeming with the marine algae on which it
feeds. By drying naturally, the delicious flavour is
intensified and sealed into the abalone. It is a
foodstuff of the highest quality, born of the natural
environment around Higashidori village on the
Shimokita peninsula.
